Bio

Hey, I’m Jakholbi Murry—a Brooklyn-based actor, storyteller, and proud Murfreesboro, Tennessee export. I grew up juggling sports, church solos, and a growing suspicion that I might be a little too dramatic to just play nice on the practice field. Turns out, performance was more than just fun—it was my way of figuring life out.

I’ve got a BFA in Acting and a deep love for work that digs into identity, joy, grief, and everything in between. I live for those moments on stage (or screen) when things get real—when the audience leans in, and it all just clicks.

When I’m not acting, I’m probably scribbling down thoughts for a script, people-watching like it’s a sport, or blasting music like the character I am. I believe good storytelling starts with presence, curiosity, and heart—and I try to bring all three wherever I go.

Thanks for swinging by. Let’s make something that matters.
