A voice shaped by rhythm, a soul moved by story— I take steps where truth and art collide.
Bio
Hey, I’m Jakholbi Murry—a storyteller, actor, and creative spirit based in Brooklyn by way of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I grew up playing sports, singing in church, and slowly discovering that performance was more than just fun—it was how I made sense of the world. I earned my BFA in Acting from Lipscomb University, where I found my voice and fell in love with the power of presence, vulnerability, and craft.
I’m drawn to stories that say something real—about identity, memory, grief, joy, and all the moments in between. Whether on stage or in front of a camera, I’m always chasing honesty, connection, and that feeling when everything just clicks. Outside of acting, you’ll find me writing, people-watching in the park, or blasting music that makes me feel something.
Thanks for stopping by—I’m glad you’re here!
