Bio

Hey, I’m Jakholbi Murry, a Brooklyn-based actor, storyteller, and proud Murfreesboro, Tennessee export. I grew up juggling sports, practicing my creativity, and a growing suspicion that I might be a little too dramatic. Turns out, performance was more than just fun, it was my way of figuring life out.

I’ve got a BFA in Acting and im especially interested stories that explore identity, resilience, joy, and the complexities of being a human. I live for those moments on stage (or screen) when things get real. When the audience leans in, and it all just clicks.

When I’m not acting, I’m probably scribbling down thoughts for a script, people-watching like it’s a sport, or listening to music. I believe good storytelling starts with presence, curiosity, and heart, and I try to bring all three wherever I go.

Thanks for stopping by. Let’s make something that matters.
